Rick Scott Hiton

Rick Hiton, MS, ASA, IFAS, LEED GA, has been in the valuation industry for over 37 years and is an expert in urban economics and property valuation. Mr. Hiton is a Past President of the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (ICAP), considered the leading appraisal coalition to affect change in the appraisal industry. He currently serves on the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals Board and the NAIFA Chicago Chapter Board. Mr. Hiton holds the ASA and IFAS designations from the American Society of Appraisers, Masters of Science Degree in Real Estate and Urban Economics. In 2016, Mr. Hiton completed: Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership Program, Certificate Program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. As a certified LEED Green Associate, Mr. Hiton provides expertise in sustainability and environmental impact and is committed to the green building movement. He has also been certified by the Appraisal Institute in Commercial/Residential Solar Valuation. Finally, Mr. Hiton currently serves as the Director of Sustainability for Accurity Valuation, providing LEED Green consultation at a national level, with the backing of one of the largest appraisal firms in the nation
