If you have any members interested in Professional Standards or who need Pro Standards training, CAR has an upcoming virtual training opportunity!

On November 7 & 8, CAR will be offering a 6-Hour Professional Standards Enforcement Training. This comprehensive session on ethics, arbitration, and hearing procedures will give attendees a solid understanding of how the enforcement process works, and the obligations and policies that are essential to each volunteer role (grievance, hearing panelists, mediators/ombuds, and BOD members.)

This 6 CE credit virtual course will be instructed by Matt Difanis, 2020 NAR Pro Standards Committee Chair who was instrumental in the addition of Standard of Practice 10-5 in the Code of Ethics. This training is required for all CAR Pro Standards and Grievance Committee members every 3 years, and for new committee members prior to serving on hearing panels or Grievance Committee. This course also satisfies NAR’s mandatory ethics training requirement. It’s FREE for CAR PS & Grievance Committee members they were sent a promo code via email.
