Our Favorite Places to Watch Football in the Roaring Fork Valley
It’s finally fall here in the Roaring Fork Valley which means it’s finally football season! Although we’re a few hours from Denver, the Roaring Fork Valley still boasts a devoted Denver Broncos fan base. So, whether you’re looking to watch the Bronco’s game, your home team or a full afternoon of football here are our favorite places to watch football in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Aspen: The Red Onion
Established in 1892 this historic Aspen restaurant and bar boasts several TVs and a wide selection of beer for your Sunday afternoon football enjoyment. Doors open at 11AM and close at 2AM all week long.
Snowmass: Zane’s Tavern
A classic local hang, Zane’s Tavern boasts several televisions, a pool table, a shuffleboard table and some of the best food in town. Doors open at 11AM and close at 2AM, happy hour is from 3PM-5PM.
Basalt: Riverside Grill
Located just feet from the Frying Pan River the Riverside Grill offers several televisions, a beautiful deck and a dynamite beer selection. Make sure to come by Monday night for the special Football menu!
Redstone: The Redstone Inn
The Redstone Inn is nestled high in the Crystal River Valley, filling the space between the Crystal River and the towering red cliffs above. The Redstone Inn offers football fans a great place to watch games in an unparalleled mountain setting.
Glenwood Springs: Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company
Located in downtown Glenwood Springs, the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company offers several large TVs, delicious food and fantastic beers from their own tap room! Open from 11AM to 10:00 PM.
New Castle: Black Dog Saloon
Located on Main Street in New Castle the Black Dog Saloon boasts several TVs, good food and a wide array of cocktails. Black Dog Saloon often hosts music so make sure to check the event schedule before heading in to watch games!
